WHAT ARE MACROS?

Macros are short for macronutrients that are required by our body in large quantities to function properly. It includes three types of nutrients, which are carbohydrates, fats and proteins.

  • CARBOHYDRATES

Carbs are macronutrients that convert glucose into energy, which is the primary fuel for our body. Dietary carbohydrates fall into three categories, which are sugars, starches, and fibers. We get cabs from vegetables, fruits, nuts, legumes and other food items. Carbs when taken in their natural form provide numerous health benefits while refined carbs are processed foods are a bad choice to make.
